“I want someone to laugh with me, someone to be grave with me some-one to please me and help my discrimination with his or her own re-mark, and at times, not doubt, to admire my acuteness and penetration.”
I want to be your friend For ever and ever without break or decay. When the hills are all flat And the rivers are all dry, When it lightens and thunders in winter, When it rains and snows in summer, When Heaven and Earth mingle-Not till then will I part from you.
To dream the impossible dream To fight the unbeatable foe To bear with unbearable sorrow To run where the brave dare not go this is my quest, to follow that star No matter how hopeless, no matter how far to fight for the right without question or pause To be willing to march into hell For a heavenly cause And I know if I only be true To that glorious quest Then my heart will lie peaceful and calm When I’m laid to my rest. And the world will be better for this.
The soul would have on rainbows…….if the eyes had no tears.
I avoid looking forward or backward, and try to keep looking upward.
Here I am engulfed in one of the “darkest hours” of my life. We have often discussed these “dark hours of soul searching”, and they come as nothing strange or unexpected, for we know this is the way of life. But some-how, as we grow older, they do in-crease in intensity. But I know God is behind the “dark cloud”, and I know he will remove the “darkness”, I also knew this is not a destructive one and that he is trying to awaken me to a new awareness of how to best serve Him.
When it is dark enough, you can see the stars.
Glory gives herself only to those who have always dreamed of her.
In the depths of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible summer.
Glory gives herself only to those who have always dreamed of her.
